Crew is the most important part of a ship. While sailing, correct captain and crew selection will enable you to spend the comfortable and enjoyable holiday and to have the service from most appropriate people which is an important topic. Therefore, crew that will accompany you on the yacht must be selected carefully. Additionally, it is extremely important to complete payroll, insurance, licence, certificate and health report procedures of the crew before sailing.

Crew Management

As Prime Yacht, we are dealing with all topics related to the crew for your comfortable sailing. Crew that will serve on the yacht are employed by the yacht management company. All crew has completed required security checks. Before the crew is on-board, all payroll and personal rights procedures are completed.

Crew insurance procedures are completed under management service. Internationally accepted crew insurance service is provided to yacht owners who will sail outside the Turkish border. Thus, if the crew experienced any health problem outside Turkey, all procedures can be completed under this insurance.

Prime Yacht takes all the precautions about any problem with the crew before on-boarding. Yacht owners can enjoy a comfortable holiday with their families with the personnel employed under yacht management company.

Crew Procedures

One of the most important parts of crew management is crew procedures. To protect the rights of all the crew on your yacht, working conditions comply with Marine Labour Contract (MLC 2006). Annual leave plans are managed according to the procedure.

Additionally, training and certificates of the crew are closely monitored. In addition to captains, all training and certificates of the crew are closely monitored.

Under the insurance procedures, social security and health insurance procedures are completed. Also, all crew is protected under international health insurance. Prime Yacht plans all procedures necessary for crew management and applies these procedures in detail.
